Electronics Designer at Combitech in Stockholm

Your role as an electronics designer

In your role as an electronics designer, you will follow the entire development chain, from idea to finished product. Your tasks will therefore be varied and consist of both new designs and improvements of existing electrical systems. No day is the same with us, and the variation in tasks is significant as we work on several different projects with various products simultaneously.

Our clients are primarily local within the manufacturing, telecom, automotive, and defense industries, which means that as a consultant with us, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting assignments where we are involved in developing future solutions.

Who are you?

We are looking for an electronics designer who is an open and social person with an easy ability to create good relationships with colleagues and others in their environment. You have a positive attitude towards your work and your colleagues and are humble in the face of new challenges. We believe that you are already a valued colleague who spreads engagement and finds it important to enjoy your work.

For the role, we are looking for a Master’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent in electronics, with a few years of experience in producing assembly and detail designs such as cabling, drawings, and circuit boards based on specifications. You should be able to read, interpret, and work from technical documentation, use, develop, and improve measurement techniques to ensure product quality and performance, as well as perform testing, verification, and troubleshooting of instruments and electronic products. Additionally, you will participate in various phases of product development - from concept to finished solution.

We would like you to have experience with design tools such as Mentor, KiCAD, or similar. Previous experience in the manufacturing, telecom, automotive, and defense industries or in a marine environment is also meritorious but not a requirement. You should have good knowledge of Swedish and English, as well as a driving license B.

Many of our assignments are subject to defense confidentiality, therefore you are required to undergo and be approved in a security clearance.
